The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a set of short stories in the larger Sherlock Holmes series (it is the third book in the series). I had watched the TV show and loved it, so I decided to read the books. I enjoyed the books a lot, although I only was able to read 6 of the short stories, they had lots of the same humor as the show and were pretty easy to read. They were about Sherlock Holmes and his friend Doctor John Watson, who helps him solve his cases. Sherlock regards Dr. Watson as one of his closest friends and wants his help whenever possible and Dr. Watson is always happy to help. I enjoyed reading it although it was on the slow side and I found the different writing style interesting to read as well. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a classic, loves a good mystery or who wants more Sherlock Holmes.
