Farmer Boy (Little House, #3) by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Farmer Boy (Little House, #3) by Laura Ingalls Wilder

As I continue with this series, I am realizing that I will not be able to finish it. Partly due to time constraints and prioritizing while the other part is from disinterest. It might be that I am too old, or the fact that I do not agree with some of the things these books are teaching. I really like to see how farm life was and how it is going to connect to the other books, but it does not pull me in to make me feel like I need to find out. Seeing how farm life was is the most interesting part to me because it reminds me of my grandfather whose family grew up like that. But other then that, I lost track of the plot and got very bored in the middle. Overall I can say this is educational, but I also had the frustrating issue of how they treat their children in the book, like I have with the other books in this series. I am giving this three stars because it is educational and after reading it I found myself spouting random old ways to do things to my family, but it is also boring and hard to get through.
