Nevermore (Maximum Ride #8) by: James Patterson

This book on its own was good. The ending was suspenseful yet conclusive. I feel that the further into the Maximum Ride series the less funny the books become. This book was not as funny as the other book, although there was this one part involving a bow tie that made me have to smother my huge grin in class. For the past couple of books I have not been liking what is happening. In this book I finally like what happening. I did not have to yell at it. Although the ending is predictable, it is not expected. For the series as a whole, I would say to stick with them even through the upsetting books. This last one was worth it. Oddly I do not think that I will miss the characters like I normally do. Because the last few books had so much drama, I was sort of ready for them to end. If I was to miss any characters I would miss Max, Fang and Iggy. Even though the last few books where not as good as the first few, this is still a really good series. I recommend it to anyone who wants a big laugh and enjoyed Alex Rider/Percy Jackson.
