The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster

The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster

I have always been told that I should read The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. It is about a boy named Milo who finds a tollbooth in his room and enters. Inside he finds a whole new world with it’s own set of rules. This whole new world is based on the creation and thinking about language. It is really interesting and reminded me a lot of Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi which creates a whole new world and a whole new way of thinking about color. I would recommend this book to middle schoolers, I think I would have appreciated it more if I had read it younger.
