Schindler’s List by Thomas Keneally

Schindler’s List by Thomas Keneally

This is one of the first times that I had watched the movie before reading the book. That is why I made sure that I read the book. At first, I was excited to read it, I thought that it was going to be like Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, but when I started reading it, it was not what I wanted it to be. The writing was technical as if it was a nonfiction book but it was not intended to be, this made the reading very slow. There was a lot of names to try to keep straight. Towards the end of the book, I found it really hard to put down. Overall this book was good, the story is something more people should know about, but it is also all about business transactions that Schindler made to save his Jews, so it would be hard to write it in a fictitious way. I recommend this to you if you liked Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand.
